The Puget Sound Pug Dog Club exists to preserve and protect the
Pug Breed. We do this by providing our members with Pug
Specialties to show their Pugs in AKC events, and by assisting Pug
owners who would like to participate with their Pugs.

Our members not only try to further the sport of purebred dogs, but we also strive to promote and protect the
Pugs in our local communities, share educational information about the breed,  act as knowledgeable resources for
how to live with and care for Pugs, a wonderful breed, with the ability to keep us owners "on our t
oes."

For those of us that show in conformation the Pug Standard is the written description of the ideal Pug.  The
description of all the characteristics we hold to represent what a Pug is and the standard to which we hold
ourselves if we breed our Pugs, so that we can maintain the Pug breed.

Our club members love and enjoy the breed, and although we are not all Pug exhibitors and/or breeders, our
membership is open to anyone with an interest in Pugs, willing to live by and/or support our Code of Ethics.
